Brembo’s All Done

On Saturday I finally completed the R33 GT-R Brembo Brake calipers. Original Black with a White logo, I wanted something different, so using VHT's special Caliper spray paint in Cast Aluminium, Red and Clear, the transformation is now complete.

Did you stencil the Brembo logo back in or did you find some stickers? I’m going to be doing the same thing to my G35 Brembos soon, so I was curious. I love the silver. I think I may do that or yellow!

Yeah mate, they’re painted on using a stencil I cut on a vinyl cutter. More info here - http://www.sillbeer.com/blog/entry/driveline_time/
I still love the silver, and the clear coat has really managed to keep them very easy to clean.

Awesome! I suppose I could have found this post. Shame on me. Where did you find the stencils? and did you brush on or spray over the stencil?
They came out great. Glad to know the clear coat is still keeping them clean!

I found the Brembo logo online in EPS format, I’m designer so I just resized as per original white on black logos, and pumped it out on my vinyl cutter using a vinyl paint matte. I did a few coats of the base silver, then setup stencil and masked the rest for a spray on coat of red, then did the whole lot with about 3 coats of clear.
